series of multifunction displays incorporates best-in-class radar, chartplotter
and sonar technology.
The versatile NSE8 and NSE12 are compatible
with the most powerful marine technology available, including BR24 Broadband
Radar and BSM-1 Broadband Sounder, and come pre-loaded with Navionics Platinum
cartography for seamless chart detail, satellite photos and 3D imaging.
Boasting extremely robust construction, yet
attractively styled, the Simrad NSE8 (20.3cm) and NSE12 (30.5cm) multifunction
displays are easy to install and offer a highly-intuitive user interface for
operational simplicity.
The smart menu-driven user interface,
featuring quick-touch direct access key operation, includes specific modes
designed to maximise functionality and accessibility for professional and
recreational boaters.
A rotary controller with logical
push-to-enter selection provides control of menus as well as important
functions like gain and zoom, while an intuitive alphanumeric keypad offers
quick and easy data entry and waypoint management.
Both the NSE8 and NSE12 also feature
Simrad's SunView technology, which utilises innovative LED backlighting to
deliver bright, crystal clear, high-resolution imagery with excellent contrast
and minimal colour shift at all viewing angles.
Navico Australia is conducting a national
‘road show' over coming weeks to introduce the Simrad NSE series to dealers.
The NSE series of multifunction displays will be available to consumers towards
the end of the year.
