Emarine Australia's
dedication to and success with Back Cove Yachts throughout Australasia has been
recognised with an achievement award from the US manufacturer.
Combining
the latest technologies in boatbuilding with traditional painstaking
craftsmanship in the production of every vessel, Back Cove has built 370 of its
Downeast-styled motor yachts to date, of which Emarine Australia has sold 22.
Back
Cove Yachts vice president, marketing and sales, Bentley Collins said Emarine
Australia's contribution to the marque's export business was exceptional.
"Emarine
Australia and, in particular, Jed Elderkin's devoted effort on Back Cove's
behalf has been outstanding," Mr Collins said.
"While
the actual sales percentage of around six per cent may not seem huge, in the
export business if you add up two or three ‘six per cents', you have a very
good export segment.
"It's our goal at Back Cove
to export 20 per cent of our production, so Jed has contributed more than his
fair share of that goal."
Further to Emarine
Australia's excellent sales performance, the Back Cove achievement award also
recognises Jed's reputation for superior after sales service, his closeness
with his clients and his positive outlook... all of which, according to Mr
Collins, make him "a very good representative for our brand in Australia".
Emarine Australia will soon
take delivery of the new Back Cove 30 and will also deliver the first hull of
Back Cove's sister brand, Sabre Yachts, to its Australian owner before the end
of the year.
